Adrian Koesters is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. A writer of poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction, she has spent most of her adult life in Nebraska, where she first attended college at Creighton University. She holds an MFA from the Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University, and a Ph.D. in poetry and fiction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she taught writing and literature. She authored two books of poetry, Many Parishes and Three Days with the Long Moon, which were both published by Baltimore's own long-standing and respected BrickHouse Books. Her first novel, titled Union Square, is not yet published but under consideration. She currently is the Research Editor for the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
