A speculative reading series, presenting – at its inaugural meeting – three authors.
Two-time Nebula award winner Catherine Asaro, an author of science fiction, fantasy and thrillers, has written over twenty-seven novels, including the acclaimed Ruby Dynasty series–also known as The Skolian Saga–as well as novellas, short stories and non-fiction. She will be reading from The Bronze Skies, book two in the new series which began with Undercity, and is set in the same universe as The Skolian Saga.
Sunny Moraine’s short fiction has appeared in Clarkesworld, Tor.com, Nightmare, Lightspeed and multiple Year’s Best anthologies. She is the author of the Root Code and Casting the Bones trilogies and a debut short fiction collection Singing With All My Skin and Bone. In addition to time spent authoring, Sunny is a doctoral candidate in sociology and a sometime college instructor. She lives just outside Washington, DC, in a creepy house with two cats and a very long-suffering husband.
Katherine Locke will present her Young Adult debut, The Girl With The Red Balloon. She lives and writes in a very small town outside of Philadelphia, where she’s ruled by her feline overlords and her addiction to chai lattes. She writes about that which she cannot do: ballet, time travel, and magic.
