We know that many of you know and love Sujata Massey’s Perveen Mistry series– and if you do, we can’t wait for you to meet Dr. Gul Delani of Maha Khan Phillips’ new mystery THE MUSEUM DETECTIVE! For those of you who are new to both, you are in for a treat!

Join us on the Ivy patio for a conversation between Maha Khan Phillips and Sujata Massey about this gripping series debut, which introduces archaeologist Dr. Gul Delani, whose investigation into the discovery of a mummy gets complicated–and personal–when it collides with her years-long search for a missing family member.

Maha Khan Phillips was born in Karachi, Pakistan. She is the author of Beautiful from This Angle, The Mystery of the Aagnee Ruby, and The Curse of Mohenjodaro. She is a multiple award-winning financial journalist and editor who writes across a number of different journals and magazines. She lives in London with her husband and son and frequently visits Pakistan, where she has a keen interest in exploring archaeological sites.

Sujata Massey was born in England to parents from India and Germany, grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, and lives in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a features reporter for the Baltimore Evening Sun before becoming a full-time novelist. The first Perveen Mistry novel, The Widows of Malabar Hill, was an international bestseller and won the Agatha, Macavity, and Mary Higgins Clark Awards. Visit her website at sujatamassey.com.
