Ayurveda is such a profound and complex science that it can be difficult to know exactly where to begin. As an Ayurvedic consultant, Susan Weis-Bohlen helps those who are new to Ayurveda address this exact issue. In Ayurveda Beginners Guide Susan explains of the holistic principles behind Ayurveda, and offers gentle guidance for incorporating its restorative practices into your everyday life.

Designed with the newcomer in mind, Ayurveda Beginner’s Guide presents a concise overview of Ayurveda, a 3-week Ayurveda plan for beginners, a wide range of Ayurveda techniques (recipes, yoga, aromatherapy, meditation, seasonal cleanses), and a simple dosha quiz with in-depth descriptions of each dosha. Ayurveda Beginner’s Guide will show you how to unlock the transformative powers of Ayurveda and move forward in your journey toward a healthier state of mind, body, and spirit.

Susan Weis-Bohlen is full-time Ayurvedic consultant, cooking teacher, meditation teacher, and leader of sacred site tours. Susan's personal journey into the Ayurveda lifestyle began when she came across the Ayurvedic cleansing technique of panchakarma. What began as the release of damaging toxins and personal difficulties eventually grew into an impassioned vocation. She has since studied with the best teachers of Ayurveda, both in the US and in India. Susan knows exactly how challenging it can be to come to Ayurveda as a beginner and has dedicated her life to sharing the fruits of her studies with students all over the world.
