Angela H. Dale writes picture books for children and for the children-at-heart who read to them. BUS
STOP, illustrated by Lala Watkins, is her debut picture book. She lives in Maryland with her family and
Harry the cat.

Angela has been telecommuting as a writing consultant ever since they invented modems, in places
including Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Florida, Germany and Japan. She has lots of stories to tell from
those times, but her debut picture book was inspired by a bus stop just down the street from her home
west of Baltimore, and all 26 of the characters in BUS STOP are named after her children’s friends and
classmates.
