The Ivy is delighted to present a signing and meet-and-greet on our front porch, with Frances Altman, author of the recently published DESTINY'S DAUGHTER, a biography of maverick suffragist Mary Edwards Walker. The subject is timely, coming back into the spotlight, as in April Fort A.P. Hill near Richmond will be renamed Fort Mary Walker. The U.S. Mint also will issue her portrait on a new quarter in its American Women's Quarter series this fall.
