The Ivy is thrilled to be showcasing the published works of students from George Washington Carver Center for the Arts and Technology’s class of 2018. Under the guidance of Literary Arts Department chair Suzanne Supplee, the young writers created works of creative nonfiction (Angie Faieq, The Road from Kabul, Jyotsna Jayaram, Kisumu Dawn, and Kaliah White, And So Am I), fiction (Rachel St. Ours, The Evening), memoir (Lauren Goodwin, What What What), poetry (Noa Cohen, On Israel’s Ripe Horizon, and Joey Reisberg, Keter) and young adult fantasy (Celia Cook, Rise of the Ieta). Students will read excerpts from their books, which will be available for sale.
