Banned Books Read-In at Bird in Hand

We’ve teamed up with Libro.fm and Silent Book Club to host a #BannedBooksWeek Read-In in protest of censorship. Join us as we read to fight book bans!

How it works:

• Meet your fellow readers at the community table at Bird in Hand Coffee & Books at 3pm on Sunday, October 5th.
• Read your banned book selection in good company and as a symbol of the freedom to read.

Perks:

• Identify yourself as a participant at the Read-In for a free drip coffee at the counter.
• Browse our display of recently banned books and purchase any for 10% off.
• Attendees will receive a free audiobook copy of Lula Dean’s Little Library of Banned Books.
