Sunday June 8, 2025 at 4pm, The HOT L Poets Series continues at The Ivy Bookshop (Baltimore) with poets Reginald Harris & G. H. Mosson!

The reading includes an open mic so bring a poem (1 poem, 3 min. or less).

Born in Annapolis, Maryland, and raised in Baltimore, Reginald Harris won the 2012 Cave Canem / Northwestern University Press Poetry Prize for Autogeography. His first book, 10 Tongues, was a finalist for a Lambda Literary Award and the ForeWord Book of the Year. A Cave Canem Fellow, member of the National Book Critics Circle, and recipient of Individual Artist Awards for poetry and fiction from the Maryland State Arts Council, Reginald Harris’s articles, fiction, interviews, reviews, and poetry have appeared in numerous anthologies, journals, and websites, including The Baltimore Review, BuzzFeed, Gay & Lesbian Review Worldwide, Smartish Pace, Poetry, The Quarry: A Social Justice Poetry Database, San Francisco Bay Times, Verse Daily, and the anthologies Of Poetry and Protest: Emmett Till to Trayvon Martin, The Ringing Ear: Black Poets Lean South, This is the Honey: An Anthology of Contemporary Black Poets, and Voices Rising: Celebrating 20 Years of Black Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Writing, among others. He is currently a Lead Digital Navigator for the Brooklyn Public Library.

G.H. Mosson is the author of six poetry collections, including this year’s Singing the Forge (David Robert Books, 2025), Family Snapshot as a Poem in Time (Finishing Line Press, 2019), and two collaborative chapbooks from PM Press. His poetry has appeared in The Tampa Review, The Potomac Review, California Quarterly, Lines & Stars, Smartish Pace, and has been nominated four times for the Pushcart Prize.
